A day for all involved in caring for and ministry with people with dementia, led by Fr Michael McCarthy. Revd Gaynor Hammond will lead a session after lunch on Growing Dementia-friendly Churches.

Fr Michael McCarthy is an award-winning poet whose latest collection, ‘The Healing Station’, has been inspired from his residency in a hospital for people living with dementia or the aftermath of a stroke.

Revd Gaynor Hammond is a Baptist Minister who has worked tirelessly for many years to inspire churches to become more dementia-friendly, including taking time to write a number of reader-friendly books full of practical ideas including “Help! We Have Dementia!” and “Growing Dementia-friendly Churches”.
